Derek Jarman (1942--1994) St George and the Dragon, 1979, worked photograph, exhibited at the Barbican Art Gallery Derek Jarman exhibition 9th May - 18th August 1996, catalogue No. 106, owner David Dawson, artist and gallery applied labels verso and further signed and dated in ink and inscribed Phomix image, 17 cm x 23.5 cm, this item comes with original Barbican Gallery booklet and letters from the Barbican to the owner Mr Dawson relating to the loan of the works for the exhibition. David Dawson was the Director of the established B2 Gallery in Wapping and this work comes directly from his family (see illustration).

John Maybury (British,1958) "Ha Ha Ha", a hand painted folding screen with Ha Ha Ha repeated in white and red against a blue ground, by repute this screen was used in the film "Jubilee" directed by Derek Jarman, Jarman and Maybury were great friends and worked together on numerous occasions. Provenance - From the estate of David Dawson of the B2 Gallery, Wapping London, this panel was given to Mr Dawson as he exhibited works both by Jarman and Maybury. Each panel 39.5 cm wide, 165 cm high (see illustration).
